Fig Tree Trunk Show!

Hi there ladies! We have had Fig Tree & Co.'s great new Trunk Show in our new shop so I thought I'd share some pictures for those who can't come see it in person!

This quilt is named Petite Fours! I'm really loving all those little baskets! A perfect quilt for all your picnicking adventures! Although, I'm sure it would be hard to put a quilt this beautiful on the ground! I think it looks even more gorgeous on the lovely barn doors hanging in the front of our shop! ;)

The quilt to the left of the bed is Praire Sweets Revisited, the quilt on the bed is Vanilla Blooms, and the one one the right side of the bed is Nooks & Crannies. I really love the look of a beautiful quilt hanging from a large embroidery hoop! Our Cabbage Rose Girls are fantastic at displaying quilts beautifully! You can purchase these patterns by clicking on the names of the quilts!

Aren't these Strawberry Shortcake pincushions adorable? These would make great gifts for sewers or anyone who loves strawberries! You could display them on a vintage cake stand like we have here for a sweet and simple table decoration! Sew cute!

This sweet little cape is called Raindrops! You can make your kiddo a shield from the rainiest days by making it with vinyl fabrics or you could make it out of quilted fabrics for an any day poncho!

The About Town Bag is chic, simple and perfect for any woman on the go. Big enough to carry everything you need and still small enough to find things! It's also quick and easy to make, you could finish this bag in an evening! Grab this pattern and whip one up for a last minute Christmas gift! Click on the name to get more info and see the material list for this project.

I hope you enjoyed this Trunk Show feature! For any of you in the area, you simply MUST come see our new shop if you haven't already. All of these samples are so much more lovely in person! All the patterns we've shown here are for sale in our online store!

More from our Grand Opening!

We had SOOO much fun this past weekend hosting the Grand Opening of our new store! So many of you wonderful ladies (and fellas) came out to see the new space, check out our fun demos and wish us well and we appreciate each and every one of you!

We had tons of tasty treats! The shop smelt A-MAZING from all the delicious goodies cooking in the oven! That's so great to say...we have an OVEN! ;)

Little Miss Kaitlyn O'Neill was bopping around the shop in a super cute pair of Bella Pants, making sure we were all staying in line and getting things done!

And she kept stealing Grammie's glasses! What a cutie!

I loved all the creative party ideas! Paper decor is sooo yesterday! It's all about FABRIC! If you're planning a party any time soon, come into the shop with your theme and our amazing staff with help you come up with beautiful and creative ideas that will wow all of your guests!

We cannot put into words how wonderful it feels to be in our new home! Thank you to everyone who's supported us over the years and made the Cabbage Rose what it is today! We hope you ALL get a chance to come and see us!

Take a look at these ADORABLE log cabin baby blocks I found on the Moda Bake Shop blog! All you need is 2 charm packs, muslin, and some batting! Ava's Tea Room!

Ava, the oldest of the O'Neill grandbabies, recently turned 5 and her party was ADORABLE! Her mom, Janna used fabric for a lot of the decor (of course from Grammie's shop) and really transformed their formal dining room into a sweet little tea room for Ava! You can see all the pictures from the party on the adorable  Chickabug blog! Sew inspiring!

She's such a doll! ;)
