We just got in this totally gorgeous new collection from Lila Tueller called Bohemian Festival and my mind is buzzing with ideas! This collection completely embodies the fun and funky, carefree spirit of Summer days and will bring a little extra pop to whatever you dress in these fun prints! Little girls will love to romp around and play in simple jumpers or sundresses made with one or a bunch of these pretties! Or create several different skirts for her for a simple Summer wardrobe that she'll never tire of! Pair with bright colored t-shirts and she's ready for play dates, musuem trips, or even church on Sunday! If you want to get super cool, you could even use a little soft applique on a tshirt in a contrasting print to her skirt for an outfit as cute as your little one!

Check out this sweet and super pretty Bohemian Skirt! That print is just WOW and I am just loving the little bit of applique, it gives this already lovely skirt a little extra something! And since its a FREE tutorial, you really will save some cash by working this versatile skirt in several different prints into your daughter or granddaughter's wardrobe!!

The folks at Riley Blake have done some super sweet Pincushion tutorials featuring this pretty collection! These fast projects are a fun way to bring a little bit of a new collection into your life! Plus, who couldn't use another adorable pincushion?? I assert that no one has too many! They also make sweet gifts for your sewing pals! I love the little embellishment idea on this Flower Shop Pincushion! You can get the full tutorial here!

And just how cheeky is the Bohemian Blowfish Pincushion??? I just love the look of this fat little fishy and who wouldnt want such a bright and beautiful friend hanging out with them on their sewing table? To me, it's all about the little things that can make you smile and I'm pretty sure if this little guy was staring at me the next time my sewing machine and I start fighting, I would just have to "blow" off all my frustrations and smile! :)

I'm really loving this idea that Lila shared on her blog using just some small pieces from her new collection and a lot of imagination!! She gives full instructions for this design plus her soft applique method here! This is one of those skills that you will really be able to do your own thing with! If you love the idea but not the designs, start experiementing with your own!!

Here's another FREE PROJECT brought to you by Lila herself, these handy little Trash Stackers are a super easy-to-make trash bags perfect for keeping your car, sewing room or wherever tidy as can be! You can download the pattern right here!!

So grab yourself a few of your favorite Bohemian Festival prints (or why not just get half yards of the whole collection?) and start creating something funky and FESTIVE!!! And be sure to read through Lila's blog, so much color and inspiration in her online space!!
