I enjoy cooking very much and us much of the harvest from our veggie garden-2nd year, includes potatoes/carrots/zucchini/onions/beets/yellow and butternut squash/broccoli; and, various berries. We love camping in our RV and most always take a quilting projects, since Ron and I both quilt. We look forward to the Houston quilt Festival in the Fall. However, I must have rotator cuff surgery/recovery for the next 6-weeks so will dream of what I could be doing for a while. That's not such fun, but just wait when it's all over. In the meantime, I'll be pampered by family, including 9-GC; the youngest are 3 years and 2-year-old twin girls; adorable! LOOK OUT WORLD!

I will be taking chocolate chip cookies and my newly finished quilts to my dad's assisted living center to show them off! My dad will be 99 in August and every time we talk about my quilts, he tells me (again!) the stories about him setting up the quilt frame so the farmer's wives and church ladies to come and sit and stitch. He always wants to know if we sit around a frame and quilt:-)
