We are just LOVING all of the
BRIGHTS that are coming out this season! I know Summer is the time of year when
we're usually on the look out for these brighter hues and with amazing
collections like Bekko Home Décor Sateens, you can create
everything from fun skirts and sturdy tote bags to recovering a vintage chair or
making an awesome quilt (they're still light enough to feel
amazing!)
Pam experimented
with them in this funky patchwork quilt she created after getting inspired by the Summer catalogs! Don't
think you have to stay within a collection or even a fabric type when making a
quilt! She used cottons and sateens from several different collections and the
result is just
awesome!! Use some Cotton Couture Solids, crazy prints or tonals! Just keep the color family similar or complimentary and you're golden!!
We also have these great OMBRE'S from the Simply Color collection and they are just SCREAMING to me made into something fabulous this season! One of our Facebook friends mention creating a super trendy Ombre Skirt, and another said the gradation of these fabrics is perfect for appliqueing flowers!! How will you use them??
