Quilting, like many other art forms has a rich history in many different countries all across the globe! Russia is absolutely no exception and when it was time for them to settle on a look for the 2014 Sochi Winter Games, they went with a tradition as warm as it is welcoming, the patchwork quilt! I just adore the way they put all of these traditional Russian patterns together by hue! SO PRETTY!

I think it's super cool that a QUILT is the symbol of the Sochi Olympics. I love seeing all the bright colors on the uniforms and signage. So fun!
