Outside the (fabric) box...

We have some pretty darn crafty ladies working at The Cabbage Rose!

The creator of this cute confection is our own Jenny O'Neill! Isn't it ADORABLE? This is a perfect example of how you can use fabric in non-conventional ways! This would make a too cute wall hanging for a birthday party! You could use a stencil and cut letters out of fabric to spell HAPPY BIRTHDAY on it. Or, make a bunch of little fabric cupcakes and put one letter on each to make a bunting style banner! Oh, the possibilities!

I hope Jenny's cupcake inspires you to think outside the box when it comes to fabric! There are sooo many uses for fabric, it's NOT just for quilting! Think party decor, toys, art and more!

What do you use fabric for? We LOVE hearing new ideas!

I use fabric to make embellishing elements on my scrapbook pages. I love using fabric scraps to add some interest.

I mostly seem to make dolls, but long to dream up other things too. The cupcake is super cute!
