We just got Mayfly Buddies by Tony Fernades into the shop and we're all pretty giddy over this one! It's a super sweet line for the little ones that comes in both girly & boyish colorways! The alphabet prints and sweetly illustrated bugs give off a feeling of fun and whimsy and the excitement of discovering the world! I would love to see this line gracing a sweet little nursery! You could create a baby size quilt (Baby's Block Party would be an adorable pattern to use), matching sheets (check out this awesome tutorial for making crib sheets), curtains, matching pillows and more!

i do like the mayfly buddies and, since i've not made a baby blankie, i thought why not use this for one. i looked at the pattern download and, wow! that's a big blanket for a baby, or even a small child. still it would make a good looking small - 40x44 - quilt. i could do that!
