Well we had such a fun time over this weekend at QuiltCon and enjoyed meeting everyone so much! Thanks to all those who stopped by the booth to hang out with us! We hope you all had an inspiring and fun time too!
Say hi to some of our amazing friends from Riley Blake Designs! And just look at that gorgeous butterfly dress they created. Talk about magical!
Nothing says modern like solids and Robert Kaufman was serving 'em up in true modern quilt style! Just look at all those amazing designs and not a print in sight! You can get some of their gorgeous Kona Cottons right here. I know you're thinking you're next project is gonna be all SOLIDS.
This booth is nothing short of a FIESTA of color! Michael Miller Fabrics has been putting out some of my most favorite prints as of lately and their booth certainly did not disappoint! I'm really just bananas over that all solids quilt. It reminds me of the Eduardo print from the Fiesta Collection and I really love the tribal feel of both! Keeping the design simple gives it the modern edge.
Loved the simplicity and industrial touches in the Moda Bake Shop Booth! Seriously serving some fresh ideas for interior design along with cool project ideas and Moda's signature Pre-Cuts. I mean, how cool are those light fixtures?
Windham Fabrics is looking as modern as ever with that mosaic of quilt blocks in drawn frames statement wall! I kind of LOVE this idea. Quilt block design looks so much like abstract art already, so you can add some serious look to your space with a wall of blocks of your own creation! Want even more ideas for using quilts in modern décor? This post has some incredibly inspiring spaces featuring quilts.
Looks like everyone was having a blast! If you didn't get a chance to go, I hope you enjoyed our little peak into the show! Luckily for everyone, QuiltCon is becoming a yearly happening and will be held in different cities each year so check if one is coming to a city near you. 2016 & 2017 dates are confirmed!
